In the case of the "street" ATM I'd probably just destroy the card.Dalienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16460776649089139090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7115117288012344406.post-55017297314977458532008-04-13T22:00:00.000+02:002008-04-13T22:00:00.000+02:00'Booth on the bank premises' is common in the US t...'Booth on the bank premises' is common in the US too and I would do the same thing. If the person wasn't in the area, I'd stick it in the deposit drop box. I'm sure the bank would either contact that person or they'll end up getting a new ATM card anyway.

If it happened to be a stand-alone ATM, I would probably take the card with me. If it belonged to a bank in town, I would drive over and drop it off there. It if ended up being some random company, I'd probably call them up and cancel the card.

I always enjoy trying to return lost objects to their owners, or at least doing the right thing with them. Hopefully they'll feel good knowing there are still people who do the right thing... and then be a little more careful with their things next time.Jessyka Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13290010717765789945noreply@blogger.com
